Louis Vuitton launch Damier Neverfull at Selfridges

November 19, 2009

Selfridges is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary and Louis Vuitton is giving them an exclusive launch of their new bag Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull. The tote comes in Damier canvas and will be available at Selfridges Oxford Street and Manchester for 6 weeks before Louis Vutton starts selling them in their own boutiques. The bag will come in three different sizes: small, medium and large on which you can adjust the straps. The Damier canvas was originally launched in 1988 but was re-launched in 1996 . This is a classic piece that will last you for a very long time. Personally I prefer the Damier because it’s more discreet compared to the original LV monogram, even if it’s the LV monogram that the tote was launched in the first place.

Gucci Jackie Raffia Shoulder Bag

Just when temperatures begin their nosedive to frigidity in most areas of the northern hemisphere, we get a nice, fat reminder that none of us are going anywhere interesting for vacation this holiday season: Resort collections. And when I say that “none of us” are, I mean that I’m not. It’s sort of like the “royal we,” but with no people. It’s the “royal none of us.”

But for all those people that are taking the chillier weather as a sign to get the heck out of Dodge and down to the St. Barts, designers see fit to give you your very own between-collections collection of clothes and accessories that are appropriate for warm weather. These are often my favorite things of the year – it’s warm in my neck of the woods for such a huge proportion of time that I get a lot more use out of things suited for high temperatures than low ones. Still, seeing something like the Gucci Jackie Raffia Shoulder Bag at this time of year is more than a bit startling.

Christian Louboutin Bouquet Platform Combines Interesting Gloominess with Fashion

Set some gloomy yet interesting look as you wear this Bouquet Platform from Christian Louboutin. It is actually not that gloomy though the design kind of suggests that appeal but in a fashionable way. This also shows sophistication that could probably work all year round.

We know that florals are very popular for the spring and summer, right? And any dark or block-colored fashion wear falls to the fall and winter trend. With that, it is pretty obvious that this sandal is wearable for every season since those trends are visibly present on this shoe. This is actually made of pink satin though it looks more like of a natural canvas, designed with black floral laces all over. Those black florals indeed make this gloomy though it sure looks very interesting and would probably even complete a statement monochrome outfit.

This Louboutin pump comes with a peep-toe, so keeping your toe nails polished would keep you polished as well. The platform and the heel are also covered with floral detailing, with the heel measuring about 4¾ inches. Obviously, it has the signature red sole, which kind of complemented, by chance, with the whole design of the sandal.

This Christian Louboutin Bouquet Platform retails for $995, which is actually just enough since it would look great on whatever ensemble you wish to wear for any seasons. It could make your dull office attire fabulous whether with trousers or pencil skirts; it could as well punctuate your casual outfit such as with denims or simple dresses; and it could also make your evening look more feminine with your fabulous evening dresses.
